These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Penny, an AI assistant operated by Easy Artificial Intelligence, Inc. (“Penny,” “we,” “us”). By messaging Penny or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Penny is an AI assistant you reach inside iMessage. She routes your requests to third-party AI models to generate replies, and can perform tasks you ask for, such as generating images, searching the web, or — if you connect a Google account — reading or acting on your Gmail and Calendar. Penny is currently a free private beta and is provided “as is.” Features may change or be discontinued.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Penny to:
- break the law or facilitate illegal activity;
- harass, abuse, harm, or impersonate others;
- send spam, attempt to disrupt the service, or circumvent its limits or safeguards.
You are responsible for what you ask Penny to do and for the actions you approve — including any actions taken on accounts you connect (for example, emails sent or calendar events created on your behalf).
3. Accounts and connected services
Connecting a Google account is optional. When you connect one, you authorize Penny to access it for the purposes described at the time of connection and in our Privacy Policy. Actions that send or change data on a connected account require your explicit approval. You can disconnect a connected account at any time.
4. AI output
Penny’s responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Penny does not provide professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Always verify important information and use your own judgment before relying on or acting on anything Penny tells you.
5. Intellectual property
Penny, including its name, branding, and software, belongs to us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other intellectual property except as needed to use the service. As between you and us, you retain your rights in the content you submit to Penny.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.
8. Termination
You may stop using Penny at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time, including for violations of these Terms.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the effective date above. Your continued use of Penny after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
